Key Responsibilities


As Group Finance Director, you'll provide strategic financial leadership and ensure robust governance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Planning: Partner with the CEO and Board to set the financial vision and align it with the company's overall goals.
  • Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and presentation of accurate, timely, and insightful financial statements and management reports.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial services regulations, including FCA and other applicable standards.
  • Risk Management: Develop and oversee effective risk management strategies to protect and enhance business performance.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting and long-term financial forecasting processes, ensuring clarity and efficiency.
  • Leadership & Development: Inspire and mentor a high-performing finance team to foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Support M&A activity, including due diligence, valuations, and integration planning.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions.
  • Cost Optimisation: Oversee financial strategies to drive cost efficiencies while maintaining service excellence.
