The Role

As Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of group-level financial accounting and reporting, ensuring month-end runs smoothly and delivering accurate, timely information to senior stakeholders. You'll work closely with the Financial Controller, supporting consolidation, statutory accounts preparation, budgeting and cashflow - while also helping to embed improvements across systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee month-end close, ensuring results are accurate and delivered to deadline

  • Prepare group consolidations and the monthly management information pack

  • Review financial data prepared by the wider team and post key transactions where needed

  • Conduct analytical reviews, KPI reporting and variance analysis

  • Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow monitoring

  • Lead year-end consolidation and statutory accounts preparation

  • Liaise with auditors and resolve technical accounting queries

  • Maintain strong financial controls, reconciliations and compliance

  • Drive improvements in reporting, systems and process efficiency

About You

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

  • Strong technical financial accounting skills, including statutory reporting and consolidation

  • Confident communicator with the ability to partner across finance and non-finance teams

  • Hands-on, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

  • Strong Excel and systems capability

  • Experience in multi-entity or investment-backed environments beneficial

  • Able to start quickly or on short notice
