You'll work closely with the Tax Business Partner, assisting across a range of areas - from partner tax computations and international tax considerations, to forecasting, compliance and advisory support for senior stakeholders.

What you'll be doing as a Tax Accountant:

  • Helping to manage the corporation tax affairs of the service company and ensuring timely payments.
  • Supporting international entities with double tax relief claims, transfer pricing and profit repatriation.
  • Acting as tax agent for Partners - preparing and submitting tax returns, liaising with HMRC, and handling ad-hoc queries.
  • Calculating partner drawings, profit distributions and capital requirements.
  • Advising new and retiring partners on their tax positions and providing tailored illustrations.
  • Supporting HR and Finance with partner onboarding, forecasting, and cashflow planning.
  • Keeping up to date with tax legislation and assisting in risk management and compliance monitoring.

As a Tax Accountant you will have:

  • Strong understanding of partnership and personal tax (UK and international).
  • Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships across Finance, HR, and senior leadership.
  • Advanced Excel skills (SUMIF, VLOOKUP, IF statements).
  • Experience using commercial tax software (e.g. Digita or similar).
  • Either part-qualified or fully qualified (ATT / CTA / ACA / ACCA).

Experience within a law firm or wider professional services environment would be beneficial, but not essential.
