A leading manufacturing company based in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Operational Accountant to join their dynamic finance team on a temporary to permanent basis. Key Responsibilities:

  Provide accurate and timely financial analysis to support operational decision-making.

  Partner closely with production and supply chain teams to drive cost efficiency and performance improvements.
• 
  Prepare and review monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and KPI reporting.
• 
  Lead standard costing, stock valuation, and margin analysis processes.
• 
  Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing insight into key trends and variances.
• 
  Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• 
  Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting systems.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• 
  A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• 
  Proven experience within a manufacturing environment.
• 
  Strong working knowledge of SAP.
• 
  Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• 
  A proactive approach with the ability to influence operational teams.
