Finance Manager - Temporary to Permanent
Location: Outskirts of Liverpool (Office-Based)
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role

Reporting to senior leadership, you'll take full ownership of the finance function, ensuring the smooth running of all financial operations. This is a hands-on role, suited to someone who enjoys both strategic involvement and day-to-day accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Oversee all aspects of the finance function, including management and financial accounting.
• 
  Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
• 
  Produce year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
• 
  Manage cash flow, working capital, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• 
  Provide insightful financial analysis to support key business decisions.
• 
  Lead and develop a small finance team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.
• 
  Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• 
  Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, controls, and reporting.

About You

• 
  Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA essential).
• 
  Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role.
• 
  Strong technical accounting skills and a keen eye for detail.
• 
  Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• 
  Confident working in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
• 
  Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the finance function.
