We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a Commercial Finance team. Reporting to the FP&A Senior Manager, this role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in finance and/or accounting, exceptional technical skills, and a collaborative approach. Experience within retail, logistics, or warehousing environments is highly desirable.
The Finance Business Partner will work closely with both Operations and Finance teams, acting as a strategic advisor and providing key financial insights to drive performance. This position requires strong analytical capabilities and the ability to build productive relationships with cross-functional leaders across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage monthly reporting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and concise performance summaries versus budget, forecast, and customer expectations.
Lead business planning (budgeting and quarterly forecasting) activities, including year-over-year analysis and data uploads to financial systems.
Produce accurate financial information and insights for stakeholders across the business.
Support continuous improvement by developing and enhancing automated reporting and forecasting tools.
Deliver financial, KPI, and statistical reports to management, customers, and external partners.
Build trusted relationships with operational leaders, serving as a key link between operations and finance.
Provide financial modeling and data analysis to support decision-making and identify performance trends.
Prepare and present monthly results and KPI updates to Operations teams.
Drive understanding and action using key performance indicators (KPIs) and non-financial metrics.
Travel as required to collaborate with regional teams.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) - fully or part qualified.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance/accounting experience.
Proven experience with financial systems, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal abilities with experience influencing across all organisational levels, including executive leadership.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with flexibility and a proactive attitude.

Ability to lead and influence within cross-functional, matrixed teams.
