We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a Commercial Finance team. Reporting to the FP&A Senior Manager, this role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in finance and/or accounting, exceptional technical skills, and a collaborative approach. Experience within retail, logistics, or warehousing environments is highly desirable.
The Finance Business Partner will work closely with both Operations and Finance teams, acting as a strategic advisor and providing key financial insights to drive performance. This position requires strong analytical capabilities and the ability to build productive relationships with cross-functional leaders across regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly reporting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and concise performance summaries versus budget, forecast, and customer expectations.

• Lead business planning (budgeting and quarterly forecasting) activities, including year-over-year analysis and data uploads to financial systems.

• Produce accurate financial information and insights for stakeholders across the business.

• Support continuous improvement by developing and enhancing automated reporting and forecasting tools.

• Deliver financial, KPI, and statistical reports to management, customers, and external partners.

• Build trusted relationships with operational leaders, serving as a key link between operations and finance.

• Provide financial modeling and data analysis to support decision-making and identify performance trends.

• Prepare and present monthly results and KPI updates to Operations teams.

• Drive understanding and action using key performance indicators (KPIs) and non-financial metrics.

• Travel as required to collaborate with regional teams.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) - fully or part qualified.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance/accounting experience.

• Proven experience with financial systems, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.

• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint.

• Strong interpersonal abilities with experience influencing across all organisational levels, including executive leadership.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with flexibility and a proactive attitude.

• Ability to lead and influence within cross-functional, matrixed teams.
