Management Accountant - Fast-Paced, Evolving Business | Liverpool | up to £50,000 + benefits

We're delighted to be partnered with a leading organisation in the Liverpool region as they look to appoint a Management Accountant into their growing finance team.

This business plays an essential role in keeping people, goods, and services moving across the region - it's a dynamic environment with plenty of variety, exposure, and the chance to make a real impact.

You'll be part of a supportive, established finance function working closely with senior stakeholders and contributing to ongoing improvements across reporting and processes.

The role will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy across revenues and costs

• Supporting the full billing cycle and completion of balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and journals

• Producing cost centre reports with variance analysis and commentary

• Verifying and processing costs, expenses, and payments

• Providing guidance and support to junior members of the team

• Assisting with year-end audit requirements and ad hoc projects

What we're looking for:

• Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) accountant, or equivalent experience

• Strong management accounting experience, ideally within a complex or multi-income business

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

• A proactive, communicative approach and a genuine interest in understanding the wider business
