A successful and recognisable UK brand in the retail & leisure sector is looking to hire a new Finance Leader in the role of Head of Strategic Finance.

Leading a team day to day, the role holder will have exposure to the Board and external advisers as you are developed to take on the CFO role within 2-3 years.

The role is a rounded mix of commercial, operational and technical finance that will suit someone looking to make the step up from Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Commercial Insight & Opportunity Identification
• Strategic Planning and Forecasting
• Investor Relations and Treasury
• Corporate Finance & Strategic Projects
• Data & Analytics Leadership

• Leadership & Succession - Work closely with the CFO to gradually assume responsibility for core CFO functions, including investor comms, board liaison, and leadership of the finance team.
