Management Accountant

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading FTSE 250 business, currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their high-performing FP&A team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded accountant to support key business decisions through financial planning, performance analysis, and treasury activities. Based in Liverpool, the role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Producing and maintaining short-term cash flow forecasts to support strategic decision-making

• Providing treasury support to maximise cash returns across the group

• Investigating budget variances and feeding into ongoing forecast cycles

• Monitoring cost performance and identifying opportunities for efficiencies

• Supporting the production of the monthly board pack and senior reporting

• Assisting with hedge accounting and FX trade administration

• Preparing annual budgets and monthly rolling forecasts

• Creating sales performance reports (daily/weekly)

• Supporting ad-hoc tasks across the wider finance function, particularly Group reporting and controls

Who are we looking for?

• A part qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with strong analytical and reporting skills

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders

• Proactive, commercially aware, and capable of working independently

• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to handle large data sets
