As a Management Accountant, you'll take full responsibility for managing financial operations, guiding a team of accounts assistants, overseeing all transactional data, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Plus, you'll be at the heart of key financial decisions and process enhancements!

Key Responsibilities:


  • Own the Financial Data: Oversee all transactional data in the accounts department, ensuring everything is accurate and complete.

  • Master the Accounts: Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

  • Unlock Insights: Analyse financial data to uncover valuable insights and recommend improvements that boost financial performance.

  • Stock Management: Ensure accurate stock reporting and measurement on the balance sheet.

  • Lead & Inspire: Provide guidance and leadership to accounts assistants, ensuring strict compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

  • Audit-Ready: Work closely with external auditors, providing the necessary documentation and facilitating the audit process.

  • Drive Improvements: Identify opportunities for enhancing internal controls and processes, reducing financial risks, and improving operational efficiency.

  • Payroll Perfection: Coordinate with the outsourced payroll provider, ensure accurate and timely payroll, and reconcile payroll data with financial records.
