FP&A Analyst - Hybrid Working (Widnes Area)

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically minded individual looking to develop their career within a commercially focused finance function. The role offers hybrid working and full study support for those pursuing AAT, CIMA or ACCA qualifications.

This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional at the early stages of their career, whether currently studying or looking to begin a professional qualification, who is keen to gain exposure to FP&A, commercial analysis and business partnering in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain, analyse and report on sales, margin and commercial performance data.
  • Investigate and resolve margin-related queries from stakeholders across the business.
  • Prepare and post margin adjustments and associated journals.
  • Produce balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end reporting activities.
  • Perform regular compliance and control testing activities.
  • Analyse operating costs, identify trends and provide commentary on key drivers.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and wider FP&A activities where required.
  • Assist senior finance stakeholders with ad-hoc reporting and analytical projects.

  • FP&A / Reporting Manager

When will interviews be taking place?

Ideal Experience:

  • Studying towards AAT, CIMA or ACCA, or looking to commence studies.
  • Recent graduate or finance professional with strong analytical skills.
  • Strong Excel skills are essential.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
  • SAP experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
