Are you an ATT-qualified tax professional looking for a broader client portfolio, fully funded CTA support and genuine opportunities to progress?


A growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice is looking to appoint a Tax Senior to its experienced Bootle team. You'll manage a varied portfolio of personal and corporate clients, build trusted relationships and support the delivery of practical tax advice and planning strategies.


Tax Senior Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients across a wide range of sectors.
  • Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Supporting the delivery of tax planning strategies tailored to clients' circumstances.
  • Preparing and processing P11D forms.
  • Handling a range of ad hoc personal and corporate tax queries.
  • Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Acting as a day-to-day point of contact and developing long-lasting client relationships.
  • Providing clear, practical tax advice and identifying opportunities to add value.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider tax and accounts teams.
  • Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within relevant filing deadlines.

Tax Senior Attributes:

  • ATT qualified.
  • Studying towards the CTA qualification or ready to begin your CTA studies.
  • Mixed tax experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
  • Comfortable managing both personal and corporate tax compliance work.
  • A confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with clients.
  • Proactive and willing to take ownership of assignments and queries.
  • Organised and able to manage a varied workload and competing deadlines.
  • Collaborative, ambitious and keen to continue developing technically.
