We're partnering with a highly respected, nationally recognised accountancy and advisory firm to appoint an Audit Assistant Manager into their growing North West audit team. Audit Assistant Manager Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied portfolio of audit assignments from planning through to completion
  • Leading fieldwork and overseeing audit delivery to ensure quality and deadlines are met
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process
  • Reviewing audit work completed by junior team members and providing coaching and development support
  • Supporting Managers and Partners on larger and more complex assignments
  • Assessing risk areas, reviewing systems and controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and audit standards
  • Contributing to the continued development of junior talent within the team
  • Supporting wider business development and relationship-building initiatives where appropriate

Audit Assistant Manager Attributes

  • ACA / ACCA qualified (or overseas equivalent)
  • Previous experience within an accountancy practice audit environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards including UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Experience supervising, mentoring or reviewing the work of junior team members
  • A confident communicator who enjoys building strong client relationships
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Ambitious and motivated to continue progressing your career within a leading professional services environment
