Management Accountant - Contract (3-6 Months, Temp to Perm Opportunity)

Liverpool City Centre | Hybrid Working (4 days office / 1 day home)

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well?established organisation based in Liverpool city centre, who are looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant on an initial 3-6 month contract, with a genuine opportunity to move into a permanent role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Management Accountant who is immediately available or on a short notice period, and keen to join a business where they can add value quickly and potentially secure a longer-term position.

Salary / Rate & Benefits

• Competitive daily rate or salary, depending on experience
• 35-hour working week
• Hybrid working: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home

Key Responsibilities

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations and reviews
• Supporting the month-end close process
• Providing financial analysis and commentary to senior stakeholders
• Supporting year-end accounts and the audit process
• Identifying and implementing improvements to financial controls and processes

Reporting To
Finance Manager / Financial Controller

Ideal Experience

• Must be ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified
• Proven experience in a Management Accountant role
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast?paced environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, adaptable and hands?on approach
