Management Accountant

Location: Chester
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

An established and growing organisation is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a hands-on role offering broad exposure across month-end reporting, controls, audit support and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Bank reconciliations and month-end close
• Stock accounting and balance sheet reporting
• Financial analysis and reporting to support business performance
• Supporting and reviewing transactional finance teams
• Liaison with auditors and support of audit processes
• Payroll coordination and quarterly VAT returns

About You

• Experience working as a Management Accountant or similar
• Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment
• AAT Qualified / ACCA or CIMA Part Qualified or QBE
